  13. I am hesitant to assume that MacApp's switch from Pascal to C++ will mean that
  14. MacApp 3.0 alpha or beta will be more buggy than a comparable MacApp 3.0 in
  15. Pascal.

  17. There are features in C++ comparable to most of Object Pascal's features.
  18. Therefore, I think the port was probably more tedious than anything else.  I
  19. would guess that 90 - 95% of the bugs will be related to the new features
  20. added, not the port to C++.  Perhaps Apple switched to C++ because they feel
  21. they could develop a less buggy MacApp 3.0 in C++ than Object Pascal.

  23. I am also hesitant to try to persuade Apple to change their product plans based
  24. on pure speculation.  Let's wait and see what MacApp 3.0 looks like before we
  25. complain about MacApp 3.0 bugs, source readability, or documentation.
